Biography

Dr. Chien received the B.S. degree from National Tsing Hua University (NTHU) in 1995, the M.S. degree from National Taiwan University (NTU) in 1997, and the Ph.D. degree from University of Southern California (USC), Los Angeles, in 2004, all in Electrical Engineering. He joined the Department of Electronics Engineering of National Chiao Tung University (NCTU), Hsinchu, in July 2005, and is currently an Associate Professor. He has been served as technical program committee members for ICC, Globecom, WCNC and PIMRC, and as the treasurer of the IEEE Vehicular Technology Society, Taipei Chapter. His current research interests include communication systems designs, statistical signal processing, game theoretic resource allocation, and network information theory.
